Compass HUD

This HUD compass provides that little extra bit of extra information you need to find your way around a busy area, be it urban streets surrounded by tall buildings or a dense jungle.

Avatar animations, and sitting positions while riding a vehicle, make it impossible to use where an avatar is facing as a reliable indicator of direction. So, the compass shows the direction of your movement while walking or riding.

So that the script is not running constantly, variables times are used to refresh the compass heading. The timer slows down when you are not moving and speeds up when you are. So the first update after you have been stationary for some time may take a few seconds.

Options:

• Clicking the center of the HUD cycles through three background colors: White, Blue, Gold.
• Touching near the outside of the HUD cycles through 4 levels of transparency so you can choose the best visibility.
• It also has the ability to show your speed in meters/second or Kilometers/hour.

  To enable the speed display, rename the notecard from "xSPEED" to just "SPEED". Take a look inside the notecard for additional information.
